Description
In 1982/1983 my father worked in the advertising department of Harrah's. He kept this proof/test of a promotion they were working on for a 1983 New Year's Eve dinner and a show with the Beach Boys at the Lake Tahoe hotel/casino. This is not one of the copies given to guests, this was a test of different printing material, as evidenced by the included note. Amusingly, the note says that he should have returned this, but he obviously didn't.
The records look unplayed to me, but I'm not an expert. I slid one out just enough to take a picture.
This includes the double LP in its sleeve, a proof of the dining menu, and a proof of the invitation, with envelope and return postcard, and the note to my father (Daniel Halcomb) from someone else in the advertising department, attached to a piece of gold glitter paper stock. They are all in excellent condition.
