THE BEATLES

Please Please me

Ultra rare Clean LP 1963 UK 1st pressing, Gold black Stereo Parlophone label, small 33/3rd label credit..   Extremely hard to find clean example of this iconic classic.  Remember, only 300 copies of the very first pressings on this label ever pressed.  PCS3042. matrix on run out vinyl-YEX 94-1 (side one) and YEX 95-1 (side two):

Sleeve:

Its a really lovely thing and the first I have ever seen in the flesh.  Heavy duty card clean high gloss laminated front and flip back E J Day and co sleeve is bright and excellent with just some light crease to flip back on reverse.  Very slight corner bump top right.  Light edge laminate crease front and very small 4mm slight mark (negligible) below Ringos hands 1.5cm from bottom edge.  Angus McBean credit aligned below edge of the S (in songs).  Nice clear square spine with clear text.  Colours are manufacture bright with no fade at all. Reverse text is clear and nice and white (only a little light discolouration to open edge).  All flip back edges glued down solid and no splits to edges.  Generally it looks great with clear bright colours.  Still with clean original poly lined patents pending use Emitex inner sleeve.

The vinyl is very clean and with original bright shine to surface.  A prominent surface vinyl scratch across tracks 4,5, and half into 6 side one doesn't affect play at all.  Otherwise both sides are free from any serious defects at all. Only very light surface visible due to removal from inner sleeve.  The heavy duty stereo vinyl sounds loud bright and lovely with clear strong audio.  Practically a flawless play with only slight crackle to intro on both sides.  Much better than the mono recording and sounds superb as if the band are in the room with you. They really don't press them like this any more.

Labels:

Clear bold and sharp, gold/ black Dick James credits. No spindle marks at all. Just a little wear around the centre hole side 2. Very slight gold leaf blemish to Parlophone Stereo logo. Still looks great.  Parlolohone co Ltd label credit. Dick James mus co credits. Made in Britain bottom. Z M T tax codes positioned on side one centre (in capital letters).

Matrix:

Run off dead wax displays matrix Side one of--YEX 94-1. Stamper letter R at 3 o clock. Side Two of YEX 95-1 and stamper letter G at 3 o clock. Number 1 at 9 o clock.   I am sure that this denotes first pressing.

Heres your chance to own a classic and maybe the rarest of all LPs ever released.

1-I saw her standing there. 2-Misery. 3-Anna (go to him). 4-Chains. 5-Boys. 6-Ask me why. 7-Please please me.
