Since i do not have a recordplayer that plays 78 rpm, the sample is recorded while the record plays at 45 rpm. it gives you an impression of the quality without editing anything.
However, since these are great recordings, i wanted to give you an impression of what they should sound like, so i took the sample & speeded it up with the computer,
i might be a bit off the original tempo, but this gives you a feeling of the true quality of the recording were the sample above just gives you a general impression of the quality of the record.

My ratings:
G = good, lots of surface noise, maybe skips or jumps, okay for collectors if you need the copy and cant find any better
G+ = The surface noise is noticeable and present but it does not overwhelm the music
VG to VG++ = Very good: some minor surface noise & some crackle, vinyl may have some minor marks
EX- = almost perfect second hand record
EX = almost sounds like new
