We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE ... Original 1966 first pressing in GREAT all CLEAN shape ... the 46+ yearold collectible contains the Batman & Robin inner sleeve, which is exceedingly hard to find ...

The obsure "TIFTON AUDIO" label is thick and weight heavy - this is NOT the cheap European reissue ...

In 1966, a toy company in Newark, New Jersey released this album called Batman and Robin to cash in on the popular BATMAN TV series of the same name. The music on the LP was credited to "The Sensational Guitars of Dan and Dale," but in fact the band was one of the greatest uncredited session combos of all time, including the core of Sun Ra's Arkestra and Al Kooper's Blues Project.

This Batman album finds Sun Ra playing his most accessible music since the early R&B stuff recorded as “The Cosmic Rays”. Al Kooper was no slouch, appearing on Dylan’s Highway 61 and Blonde on Blonde among countless other truly classic records. And his Blues Project were making some eccentric and fine music of their own around this time. Here, they all are, in disguise!

CONDITION: The cover: The THICK cardboard cover is fine shape near "EX" (excellent) which is about top expected for this album ... most copies were beat to death... 

The vinyl: the triple thick weight heavy platter is in great shape, "EX" (excellent) to M- and plays outstandingly clean ... both Tifton labels are clean  

keeper!
