*****RALPH NIELSEN - SCREAM - 1962 PRIMAL GARAGE ROCKER 45 - Surf - New Jersey*****Vinyl Grade: Strong VG/VG, Labels : VG/VG, Play Grade VG+/VG+. "Scream" is considerated the wildest rock and roll record of all time and I can't say I've heard anything wilder. The flip side, "Little Demon" is also great as a slow rocker. This record shows a nice lustre but has some handling scuffs, mostly noticeable on the outside rim. No feelable scratches. I noticed a slight hint of a storage warp on the turntable and the record is pressed a little off center on both sides but has no effect on the play quality. It's possible that all copies are like this. The lead-in and lead-out grooves play with a crackle but cleans right up when the music starts. This 45 plays great with no wear. Please listen to the audio clip of the actual record above in glorious mono and no alterations to the sound.The labels are decent showing light wear and no writing. I noticed what looks like a water ring around the outside edges of both labels looking like someone had wiped the record with a wet cloth at one time. "Little Demon" shows a few label tears.
