Description
On offer here is the increasingly rare 12" single of 'Hammer To Fall'. As any keen fan knows this is highly collectible due to the withdrawn 'live sleeve' as Brian objected to it soon after its release. If memory serves me correctly it was only released/sold by Woolworths in the UK in limited numbers making it highly sought after today due to its rarity.
There are many fakes out there but this is not one of them. The fakes have yellow lettering rather than the gold and cassette (on the reverse) is spelt as casette. Also the genuine sleeve has the flipbacks visible on the reverse rather than folded inside as per the fakes.
This particular cover is in excellent condition for its age with some minor wear. There is a small area over the U in Queen where I assume there was a sticker once due to it leaving a residue type mark. It is not that noticeable though. The edges have no splits, just a little rubbing on the bottom two corners and one of the flipbacks has a little creasing at the top.
Under a bright light there are a few faint hairlines but having play tested the vinyl they have no affect on the audio whatsoever. It plays with hardly any interference and nice and loud also on both sides!
