Identifiers - The record bears the following marks …
Matrix / Runout - Stamped - Side A - YAX 5245 - 1U STERLING
Matrix / Runout - Stamped - Side B - YAX 5246 - 1U STERLING

Signatures - The inner sleeve has been signed by all four band members in blue biro, with varying levels of pressure - Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Brian May, with the pen perhaps running out of ink by the time it reached Roger Taylor’s hand. I can add nothing about the origin of the signatures, except to say that the record was purchased by a friend from a charity shop a good ten years or more ago and I've been asked to auction it on his behalf. I have, however, looked at other signatures from the period which can be found on the Internet and all compare favourably. It is also understandable as to why it is the inner sleeve was signed, given that the outer cover is largely black and biro signatures would not have been visible. (Please note that the close-up individual signature photos were taken with a camera flash, causing a change to the hue of the background colour).

Vinyl Condition - Very Good- - Visually the record is very clean - barely a mark and certainly no worrying scratches. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that there is no sticking or jumps. However, there is a background crackle throughout, particularly noticeable during quieter songs and track breaks. Side one improves as it progresses, while side two is probably not so affected, although it does have more rocky tracks. I’ve given the record a cursory clean and suspect that sound may well improve with additional attention. The inner label of the second side has a small section which has bubbled up.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good- - Original gatefold outer cover with marks, light scratches and edge/corner rubbing in various places. The gold coloured photo insert is much superior and only has minimal wear.

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.

I will accept returns on any item which is not as described and refund all costs upon safe receipt.

See "Me" for further general despatch information.
