Prince Buster - I Feel The Spirit
(Blue Beat BBLP 802 UK LP 1963)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark blue "Blue Beat" labels. It has 1st press A/ B- matrix stampers.
This is a rare early 1960's UK Ska LP. This is a genuine UK 1st pressing.
Sleeve: There is a 3 cm seam split at the top edge, from the sleeve opening. There is a small tear to the top flipback in that area too. There is some mild fading to the rear sleeve. There is some mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. VG- condition
Vinyl: Unfortunately the record is extremely well played. There are considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are approx 14-16 marks too. Fair condition. The labels are Good+ condition. There is an initial, in larger black marker, on one side. There is moderate spindle wear on both sides. The company paper inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear & creasing.
I have fully play tested this LP. Side 1 plays Good to Good+ overall. There is some mild crackle in the background. There are a couple of areas of more moderate crackle, in a couple of areas, too. There are some light or intermittent clicks, caused by the mark, at the start of the side. This lasts for the majority of the 1st track on that side. Side 2 plays Good+ overall. There is some mild or more moderate, in places, crackle in the background. There are the occasional light click(s) on both sides in a few places. This is a crackly well played copy. Please remember this when bidding. I guess it's a bit of a collection filler. However, the music still shines through. It does not jump on my system.
