Item:
Original & complete 1st UK press of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press 'midnight blue’ tint sleeve. This sleeve also has the round purple title sticker on the front which is the 1st version 68mm larger sticker. The set is complete with all inserts - both posters, both postcard stickers and original black poly-lined inner sleeve. The two postcard stickers are 1st version ‘crackback’ issues and the black die-cut inner has 2 patent numbers and “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” printed on as-per 1st press sets. All parts are original.

Superb condition. EXCELLENT+ to M- Vinyl is super-glossy, clean, deep original sheen. It plays with no skips or sticks, no repeat clicks or loud obtrusive pops throughout the both sides. The all-important long, quiet 'heartbeat' intro to track A1 is nice and quiet and a great start to a big, punchy 1st press sound that continues as it starts throughout the two sides. A great listen. The 1st press 'midnight blue' tinted sleeve with large purple sticker is EXCELLENT+! with only light signs of handling and storage and a slight abrasion on the sticker Both posters have no tears, folds, tape marks or pin holes MINT-! Both postcard stickers are unused MINT-! The black poly-lined inner has no splits and the lining is fully intact with a slight damage to the palatine on the inner sleeve, as can be seen in the photo. Otherwise Superb condition, complete 1st UK press set.
