Item:
Original & complete 1st UK press of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press 'midnight blue’ tint sleeve that seals on the front panel with a tab as per 1st version 1st press sleeves. The set is complete with all inserts - both posters, both postcard stickers and original black poly-lined inner sleeve. In addition, unlike some, this version has the original pink/pink colored 67mm sticker from the 1st pressing on the inner sleeve. 1st postcard/sticker „Crackback Fast Print’‘version, one of them unsigned, see photo. The Black die-cut inner has 2 patent numbers and “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” printed on as-per 1st press sets. All parts are original, a postcard/sticker may have been added a little later.

Breathtakingly clean condition! The vinyl is in wonderful original gloss, exceptional with at most the occasional 2-3 extremely fine micro line in the gloss that cannot be heard or felt. Otherwise absolutely free of stains or lines of any kind, superb! Both labels are fresh and clean. The disc lies absolutely flat on the turntable. It plays beautifully, clearly, with no jumps or sticks, no repeated clicking or loud intrusive pops on either side.
Track A1's long, quiet "heartbeat" intro is nice and quiet and a great start to a big, punchy 1st press sound that continues as it begins on both sides. The guitars and the vocals convey a gripping and great listening experience! I can imagine that's exactly how the band wanted it to sound.
The 1st edition 'midnight blue' tinted case is in EXCELLENT++ Condition ! with only very slight signs of storage. Both posters have no rips, creases, tape or pinholes EXCELLENT+. Both postcard stickers are unused EXCELLENT + .The Black poly-lined interior has no tears and the lining is fully intact. EXCELLENT+ !

items are play graded and carefully checked. All LPs are cleaned on the Gläss Ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner for optimal sound-quality.
PACKING
Special German made extra-stiff Cardboard Box designed for multiple LPs are used, even for single LP packages. The boxes are oversized and thus provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to the package. Additional protection may also be used when found nessesary, such as stiffeners, bubble-wrap, extra corner-protection. I do not charge anything for packing materials.
GRADINGS
MINT(-) is as close to new as a used LP or cover can get, unplayed or played 1-2 times at most with no visual signs of use on surfaces.
MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else. All minor blemishes will be mentioned in the individual descriptions.
EX or EXCELLENT is also VERY nice, 2-3 very fine light inaudible marks here or there perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
VG+ is nice with light hairlines, a few marks maybe. Please see individual notes in case of VG+ or lower gradings.
