Have been collecting LP's for over 30 years, time to clean up duplicates, demos, re-masters and some I just don't listen to anymore.
Started collecting when I ran the mail room for Arista Records in the 70's, and continued off and on since. Check back often as I will be selling roughly 200+ original recordings, promos, MFSL and some one of a kind LP's.
Today is yet another Pink Floyd Live recording offering, THE ABDABS "A GREAT SET" Recorded May 9th, 1977 at The Oakland Coliseum. US release on NIGHT PLANE RECORDS (RDRN 50977) in 1977. This issue is conservatively rated at EX+, vinyl cover is rated VG+. This is a 3 record set.
For Pink Floyd fans, this is a very good recording, though the songs are recorded out of order. See the listing included, Pigs on the Wing part 1 and 2 are basically played after "Sheep" and after "Dogs" respectively. Still, always nice to hear "Animals" and "Wish You Were Here" live and pretty much at their release dates. The encore's are "US & Them", Wish You Were Here", and "Money". The CD companion of this LP (In The Flesh) contains the last song of the encore which was omitted from this recording, "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" which they had not played live since 1973. The CD also has the recordings in their proper order.
