EMI HARVEST RECORDS.
This is an original 1973 UK FIRST PRESSING of the all time great The Dark Side Of The Moonby Pink Floyd with the solid blue triangle confirming it to be a first UK pressing.
THE SLEEVE.On its release this album came with two variations of sleeve . 1 Had the front panel edge foldedor tucked inside itself variation two simply had the front panel edge stuck together. If you double click the pictures you will see that this sleeve is variation 2 . Both these variations were known as midnight blueand the very first ones had No stickers on them Saying band Name or album title. These were added laterat the behest of the record company and against the will of the band. The sleeve has wear visible if you double click the pictures most of this is to the front and back panels.The inside of the gatefold is way better HOWEVER this sleeve is in Very Good condition only !The inner sleeve is not an original just a later addition and there are NO POSTERS and NO STICKERS included in this auction.
THE VINYL.
The vinyl really is in lovely condition. Double click the pictures and have a look at both of the labels. They are STUNNING.The vinyl has a beautiful sheen to it and there are no feelable flaws anywhere on the item.When tilted into a bright light you can see spidery hairlines but If your after an original UK copy of this album that plays exceptionally well then this is for you. This LP plays all the way through its entirety without fault. There is no pops or clicks no background noise worth the mention in between tracks you can hear static but once the music starts its just great for playback this album is a strong 8.5 to 9/10.
So if your holding a better sleeve with the posters etc.Maybe this is the upgrader vinyl for you !

I have just test played this LP before I send it. I have to say this.
If you want an LP that looks flawless under the brightest light. This is not it.HOWEVER !!!If you want an LP that plays TOTALLY FLAWLESSLY whilst listening with the most critical ear.....Then this one right here is for you.If the winner is not happy money back no problem.This LP PLays like its , its FIRST play.No clicks no pops no hissing no background noice.This LP right here is for the real Dark Side of The Moon audiophile.
