Description

Here I am listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums. The total of the collection is 18 albums, some of which are double albums. These will not include recent re-releases, dodgy quality recordings, or anything even remotely like. They are ALL UK issue. These will all be of at least very good quality, some are much  better than that. They will include many UK 1st pressings, and if not they will be extremely early pressings. All matrices will be listed so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on.  Gradings are visual only, strictly to record collector guidelines. The exceptions to this are "Dark side of the moon" and "Piper at the gates of dawn" (mono) because these are both first UK pressings and I have play-graded both due to their stand alone value. Also in this collection is a first UK press of "The Division Bell" and "Wish you were here". All original posters and postcards are present for all albums. All of the vinyl has been meticulously cleaned.
This is the full list of all 18 albums. Gradings are cover / vinyl. Any extras will be noted.

  1.  The piper at the gates of dawn. Blue Columbia labels. This is the mono first pressing WITHOUT the "File under pop" text. KT tax code embossed on label. Side 1 plays with some background only noticeable in very quiet sections and between tracks. Also has some light clicks and pops which are not intrusive to the music, but can be heard, again, in quiet sections. Has one quite obvious mark. Side 2 plays much much better. Audio grading VG/VG+. Cover grades VG.
  2.  A saucerful of secrets. Single box EMI labels, flip-back cover. YAX 1 both sides. Side 1 is 1 M and side 2 is 1 RG. Grades EX/EX.
  3.  Relics. A1 / B2. Grades EX+/EX+.
  4.  A nice pair. Dr. Phang cover, no sticker to cover up name. YAX 1,1,1,2. "Gramophone Co Ltd" label rims. Grades EX/EX.
  5.  More. Green west facing flip-back cover. Single EMI box labels. A1-G, B1-G. Grades VG+/EX.
  6.  Ummagumma. A1, B2, A1, B3. A couple of light marks on this one. Grades VG+/VG+.
  7.  Obscured by clouds. First corrected pressing A2/B2. Grades EX-/EX-.
  8.  Atom heart mother. A1-G, B1-G. Grades VG+/VG+.
  9.  Meddle. A1-U, B1-U. Grades VG/VG+.
  10.  Dark side of the moon. A2/B2 solid blue triangle first press. Blue tinted cover, both posters and both stickers. play-graded right through with the following observations. Nice quiet copy. 2 soft clicks on "on the run", rest of side 1 plays excellent. On my system (tracking at just one gram) there were 3 very short skips on the track "Money". Taken to a friends set up that tracks at 2.7 grams there was just 1 short skip, but I am not sure if this is the infamous error from the pressing plant where a skip was accidentaly pressed into the vinyl on many 1st issues. Please bear this in mind before bidding. Rest of side 2 plays excellent. Grades VG/VG+.
  11.  Wish you were here. A1/B5. Postcard is present. Grades VG+/VG+.
  12.  Animals. A3/B2. Grades EX/EX.
  13.  The wall. A5,B3,A3,B3. Grades EX-/EX.
  14.  A momentary lapse of reason. A4/B4. Grades VG+/VG+.
  15.  Delicate sound of thunder. A1,B2,A2,B2. Grades EX/EX.
  16.  The final cut. A1-U/B4-U. Grades EX+/EX+.
  17.  A collection of great dance songs. A2/B2. Grades VG+/EX.
  18.  The division bell. A2/B2 UK pressing. Grades EX/EX.
So a pretty comprehensive back catalogue of Pink Floyds discography, and in pretty great shape too. Hard to get a decent playing first pressing of Dark side without re-mortgaging the house! Copies of the division bell (UK pressing) are as rare as hens teeth too. Please ask questions on any of the titles or require a specific album play-graded.
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send signed for postage with The Royal Mail. The cost of postage will be quite high due to the weight, but within the UK, postage costs will be paid by myself. For a winner outside of the UK, I will be using Ebays "Global shipping programme". This is not cheap, but takes care of all import/export paperwork and insurance.
I accept returns if I am notified immediately upon you receiving the albums. This has to be due to them being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the albums, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas if you contact me first, due to issues in the past and ebays new postage rules it is in both our interests to do so. Failing to contact me first may mean I cancel your bid. I will not post to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Any bids from any of these countries will be cancelled.
Many more Pink Floyd albums to be listed over the coming weeks, so either save me as a seller, or check out my other listings regularly. If there is anything specific you are after, let me know. I might just have it here!!
