This is a superb copy of the first issue 'solid blue triangle' label of Pink Floyd's masterwork complete with all its original inserts.

Once again, I'll take this opportunity to lay a myth to rest. The first pressings were NOT only issued in the famous 'Dark Blue' sleeve with the left hand edge sealed with an internal fold-over. I bought my first copy on the day of release and still have it. It was dark blue and shrinkwrapped in cellophane with the sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap. More to the point, the left hand edge was indeed sealed but with no fold-over. The one we have here is an example of the third type of this sleeve, an original issue dark blue sleeve which has no fold-over and has never been sealed. I can only assume that because of the anticipated demand G & L had to produce these sleeves on a number of different machines, or even sub-contract production, and so the different variations found their way to different parts of the UK. This copy again is a 100% genuine original and is complete with the original posters printed on semi-gloss paper and the original Fasprint Crackback stickers. The glue used on all the early stickers was permanent and this is clearly printed on the back of each sticker. Later the glue was changed to removable after complaints from the education sector who got fed up finding the stickers permanently attached to every available surface.

It goes without saying that the labels have of course got the 'Gramophone Co' rim text, 'World Copyrights' text, and 'Made in Gt Britain' text round the bottom edge.
Anyway, a very rare copy of this epic record and in absolutely superb mint- condition. The audio quality is outstanding.   Audio quality:  Unless otherwise stated below the audio quality of records I sell will always be at least excellent. Grading (vinyl):  Mint-   (completely unmarked) Grading (labels):  Mint-   (one or two very light spindle marks) Grading (outer sleeve):  Mint-   (as new) Grading (inner sleeve):  Mint-   (light creasing) Grading (inserts):  Mint-   (both posters and both stickers are as new)   Summary:  IMPORTANT!!! - If you are a potential bidder you must read the Payment Terms below.
An absolutely superb copy. What more can I say.

In order to minimise the risk of fraud, PayPal will ONLY be accepted as a payment method for sales which have an aggregate value of £150.00 or less. This means that if your total invoice value (excluding postage and packing), whether it is for one item or more than one item, exceeds £150.00 payment by PayPal will NOT be accepted and any PayPal payment will be treated as non-payment and refunded. Payment of such invoices must be with cleared funds only. I am always interested in buying high quality collections of LPs. If you have a collection to sell please use the 'Ask seller a question' link to send brief details (quantity, type of music with a few examples, and a contact email address) first.
