Description

This is the only Pink Floyd reel to reel tape I have ever seen in my 30 years of collecting Floyd music. And I don't just mean that atom heart mother is the only Floyd album to be issued on reel to reel, but this tape sitting in front of me is the only Atom Heart Mother reel to reel that I've ever seen for sale (nor do i know any collector who owns one)! Most Floyd fanatics and collectors don't even know that this exists.

This is a 1970 japanese release on the EMI/Odeon label (OXA-5067). There is a rumor that this is a different mix than the LP version, but I don't know for sure. It is a 4 track 7.5ips (19cm/s) speed tape. The sound is amazing- warm & rich with lots of presence- even better sounding than the audiophile Original Master 200g vinyl version...

Includes 8 page insert with lyrics. Condition is Very Nice.
