Please Read Full Listing Before Purchase - Thanks.

On offer is The Lp - Philharmonia Promenade Concert - Herbert Von Karajan conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra.

1961 Stereophonic Pressing is on the Columbia Records Label - SAX 2404 - Matrix No's - YAX 657 - 2 & YAX 658 - 5.

Vinyl - Ex - The record is in excellent condition overall, on Side 1 it has a couple of very light fine hairlines, on Side 2 it has a couple of more noticeable long fine hairlines although they don't affect playback, it plays excellent throughout although with occasional static tics/clicks being heard in places, nothing major though and pretty normal on these older vinyl pressings - No skips or jumps etc.

Please Note - Some light tics, clicks and or light static crackle is a normal feature of the vast majority of vinyl pressings.

Sleeve - Vg -  Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured, it has some age related wear mainly dis-colouring although nothing too major considering it's over 50 years old - see pics.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Please note: A mid range Technics turntable was used to play test the Record - Playback Results may vary on Inferior or Superior quality playback equipment.

  2. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
