Description
English folk singer Nick Drake's debut album titled "Five Leaves Left" Island ILPS 9105. Pink island first pressing. Pink label black block circle logo. This label was very quickly deleted and sold very little copies. Matrix information side 1 ILPS 9105 A//2 side 2 ILPS 9105 B//2. Labels have textured centres. comes with original blue lined island poly lined inner sleeve with island records Ltd basing Street London w11. Also patent numbers and made in Great Britain text. Very early island inner sleeve. The non laminated gatefold sleeve is made by e.j.day London. Has text Island records Ltd basing Street to bottom of back sleeve. This identifies true first pressings. Also has printing errors on songs day is done and way to blue which is printed incorrectly in back of sleeve. Songs are reversed on track playing. Now for the condition... The record is graded as excellent plus. With nice clean labels. Vinyl shining like new. Great sound quality. The non laminated first pressing gatefold e. J. Day sleeve is graded strickly as very good. Has moderate wear to edges and corners. Spine has some original wording readable but has quite a bit of wear to spine. Pictures provided. Sleeve is complete with no writing or tears. One of the hardest Island sleeves to find in nice condition due to the ulaminated delecate nature of this sleeve when made. A chance to own this very rare lp which sold very few copies before label being deleted. The holy grail amoungst pink island collectors. Good luck if bidding
