Description

$10.00 U.S. shipping includes insurance.

BATMAN THEME picture sleeve and 45 rpm

Adam West and Burt Ward on cover with the Batmobile still in its PROTOTYPE flat black paint with an amateur job painting the highlights on the creases. Most do not even know this sleeve exists. Many believe this to be a promo to draw attention to the record.

This is the very first pressing both sleeve and vinyl record bearing the theme song "Batman". LATER issues and LATER song versions followed this picture sleeve which are also collectible but much less valuable.

NO known 'snow white' copies exist! The last time one was on the internet was about a year ago.  When available, they have sold for OVER $550.00!!  I start this at less than half that and just in time for HALLOWEEN!!

cover very nice with a 1 inch seam split on one side only

vinyl, VG+ , BUT has 2 hairline cracks that go through the play area. I play tested it on a different turntable of mine and it played loud and almost totally clear with faint ticks at times, music overpowers most of it.

the REAL value is in the sleeve

vinyl stored in paper sleeve and both p/s and vinyl stored in poly sleeve

I can text the Batman theme to your phone so you can hear the actual record being played, pretty impressive!

RARE RARE RARE

PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS REGUARDING THIS RECORD. THANKS. DAN2M

Record grading guided by Goldmine (graded in light):

MINT: No scuffs, scratches, blotches, stains, labels, writing, tears or splits. Simply perfect.
NEAR MINT (NM): A Record that may have one or two tiny, minor flaws such as light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of the sleeves that do not affect play.
EXCELLENT (EX or VG+): A Record has been handled and played either very little or very carefully. The vinyl may have lost some but not all of it's original luster or have a slight scratch that doesn't affect play.
VERY GOOD (VG): A Record that displays visible signs of handling and playing such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. A VG record may look like it will have some audible surface noise when it is played, although any noise should not overwhelm the music or ruin the listening experience.
GOOD (G): The Record is well played, with any number of defects such as complete loss of surface sheen, obvious surface noise, etc.

I have many more from Rock to Jazz to Metal to Doo Wop, to Psyche, etc.

Please check my other auctions and store. MORE to come!!

Thanks and good luck!
