Description
For sale is an exceedingly scarce original (NOT a repress) example of "Meet Me Halfway/Mama," on the Tay-Ster label, white label DJ copy, TS 6016. "1258" and "mira" etched in the run out on "Meet Me Halfway" side, "1257" and "mira" on "Mama" side.
Vinyl rates NM. Gorgeous. Please hear audio clips. Labels exhibit general wear, more pronounced on the 'Meet Me Halfway' side. "Meet Me Halfway" side also has blue ink scribbles on it, while the 'Mama' side has some yellow staining on the left. A superior example of this rare Northern Soul 45, label issues notwithstanding.
This is one of two copies of this rare 45 I acquired from a single estate that had several promo 45s. This is the better of the two, with the other to list after this auction runs its course.
I am relisting this as the previous buyer "resist34" out of Berlin, Germany did not pay or answer several attempts to reach him after the auction.
