NOIR - We Had To let You Have It LP (UK PURPLE Dawn DNLS 3029, 1971) + insert
This is very, very rare, 100% original UK 1971 1st Press + elusive, flimsy insert. The music is great and quite heavy, dark progressive rock (with sax, flute) with some light, funk influences. It was played by British black musicians, but sounded very similar to Demon Fuzz (on the same label) and sometimes even to Gnidrolog and Raw Material. The LP insert is very thin and looks like cheap xero, but it's ORIGINAL!
Cover: EXCELLENT(-) Very solid grade! Matt cover would be in strong EX+ condition if not the sticker tear at top left corner. It was coloured in with white acryl (it looks a little bit greenish), and it's hardly noticable (the red stain on front was 'caused' by scanner). The cover is very clean - with no dirt and no creases, but with 4-5 small wrinkles and 2 small "halfmoons".
Record: EXCELLENT+ (very close to MINT-) The vinyl is beautiful - with 7-8 slightest hairlines on each side. It looks like being played 8-10 times. Near perfect! The original sound is really nice!
Labels: MINT- Both, purple Dawn labels are in nice shape - with 1 and 5 short spindle marks (respectively) on each label.
