Description

THE BEACH BOYS NM ULTRA RARE SHUT DOWN VOL 2 CAPITOL COMPACT 33 SXA-2027 JUKEBOX 7" EP WITH SLEEVE RELEASED MARCH 2, 1964
One of the nicest Beach Boys Capitol Compact 33 I've ever seen. Everything about it is incredible !!
The Mega Ultra Rare hard-cover sleeve is stunning. NO SPLITS, NO TAPE, NO WRITING, NO TEARS, NO PRICE STICKERS/GLUE RESIDUE, Stunning colors and super nice corners. The best I've ever seen.
The Capitol Compact 33 record is MINT and it appears unplayed. NO SCRATCHES & NO SCUFFS. Stunning !! It's incredibly rare to find this record in Mint condition after 56+ years, showing rarely, if ever, having a needle on it. The labels are just sensational. Crisp and clean with no writing and no rips/tears or fading of any kind. The colorful rim just pops out at you almost like 3D they are so nice. There are no Seeburg jukebox strips as I doubt this stunning piece has ever gotten near a jukebox !

This treasure is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to add this to your Beach Boys or Beatles collection.I've also added a Capitol Compact 33 original sleeve to keep your record safe & out of the rare sleeve

The compact 33 was an experimental (and short-lived) disc format of the early 1960s. The disc measures seven inches in diameter (45 sized), has a small center hole, and plays at 33-1/3 RPM.
The format was used primarily for mono and stereo singles. Capitol used these for The Beatles also.

Capitol manufactured compact 33 records for special jukeboxes but gave up when the 45 single took over the market. Sleeves for The Beatles & The Beach Boys jukebox records were a smaller version of the 12-inch sleeve except the back was blank. Each disc contained six songs which were those Capitol probably considered the album's best. These rare editions are being hoarded and impossible to find !!
