Description

FIRST TIME EVER FOR SALE FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO PURCHASED IT BRAND NEW UPON RELEASE IN LATE 1988 / EARLY 1989!! This is number #675 of 1000 and IT IS THE GENUINE ITEM! The record was pressed by K-Disc and has the matrix number L-31540 and phrase WHY DON'T YOU TRADE THOSE GUITARS FOR SHOVELS? stamped into the fadeout groove of side A. On Love Buzz, it also has the "Good Lord bless and keep us....swingin' hully gully!" audio intro which was not on the version presented on Nirvana's Bleach LP. All copies of this single were hand-numbered by one of two interns at SubPop in late 1988 and though the sleeve states the number of copies as 1000, the total run of the pressing may be closer to 1100 as there were an indeterminate number of 'red slash' promos in addition to the numbered copies and the industry standard for press overruns on vinyl is 10%. BOTH THE RECORD AND THE 7" x 14" FOLDOVER SLEEVE ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!! It cannot be called NM (Near Mint) as both sides have been played over the years. However, the conservative grade on it would be VG+ as it has been exceptionally well cared for. It comes from the collection of an industry professional who simply said "it's time to let it go now". Photos bear out the near-pristine and well-loved condition; this is akin to a 'barn find' in the automotive world. It is the OG item and rarely if ever does this single come up for sale anymore from an original owner, and rarely also in such wonderful condition as this particular copy.
** THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO PURCHASE AN EXCEPTIONAL AND ORIGINAL PIECE OF RECORDED ROCK N' ROLL HISTORY! **

Just got schooled by some a*rse because I had a C instead of a K. My bad.

Good luck if you bid, serious ones only.

Shipping will be $5.
