Part of an astonishing collection of records I have agreed to sell on behalf of a friend, here is a truly beautiful UK FIRST PRESS copy of Nick Drake's first album, the 1969 Island label LP 'Five Leaves Left', ILPS 9105. A//2, B//2 matrices, the VERY EARLIEST ORIGINAL PRESSING, and in TREMENDOUS CONDITION!!
Matt gatefold sleeve (with iconic Keith Morris photos) is in very nice shape indeed! Excellent structure, a little light edge and spine wear, with a few light spine edge creases, and the spine has slightly flattened backwards so that the text is visible from the back cover. Also a few small signs of storage wear, extremely minor ringwear, barely evident, nothing major. This is a superb sleeve in EXCELLENT condition! Colour is superb!! NO writing and NO tears! The sleeve certainly grades EX to EX Plus.
Vinyl is, quite simply, NEAR MINT. The vinyl has been extremely well cared for and I very much doubt you will find a better copy of this very rare LP. Stunning.
