I recieved this last week from a friend who stated quiet clearly he bought this years ago played it once maybe twice and hated it so it has been sat doing nothing ever since and believe the vinyl shows just that...
Grades
I ALWAYS GRADE TO STRICT RC GUIDE GRADING AS IT WOULD BE DAFT NOT TO AS I WANT YOU TO COME BACK AND BUY AGAIN SO I WOULD RATHER MAKE YOU HAPPY SO YOU WILL !!!
The Cover
The cover does have some edge wear mainly to the top edge of the spine as seen in the pictures below. Please do note that you can use the re issue pink island rim cover as they are identical in every way.....(see photo)
The vinyl
The vinyl well what can i say pure stunning the gloss is amazing it truely looks to of never been played... The labels are just sheer fantastic tilting i can see one or two of the faintest traces and nothing more.. The spindle hole is still nice and tight when placing onto deck showing very little use..The vinyl it self is superb in Nick's Own words Time has told me your a rare rare find and that statement is perfect for this vinyl.. Held under direct light there is the odd very very faint surface trace on either side and nothing more..The play itself just blew me away..Over the years i have owned about 4 of these but none have come nr to the looks and the play of this lp..From start to finish it is sheer amazing now and then there is the faintest of static/dust in the far away background and nothing more please do note i have not cleaned this lp as i truely think its nr perfect enough though if the new owner wishes to i would think there will be no static/dust at all..Even over tracks and the run ins are superb you can tell this lp have very rarely seen a deck..I have recorded the first two tracks of side one onto my pc if you anyone wishes to hear this lp play please mail me and i shall send you a link as last time i put a sound file on a listing people mailed saying it slowed down the page or they could not open it all i can say now is good luck and bid with confidence please see my feedback......... !!!.
