Description
Debut Records was a United States jazz record label, which was founded in 1952 by bassist Charles Mingus, his then-wife Celia and drummer Max Roach.
This short-lived label was an attempt to avoid the compromises of working for major companies. Intended to showcase work by new musicians (Thad Jones and Paul Bley made their first recordings on the label), only two dozen or so albums were issued before the company was wound up in 1957.

LP will be shipped using LP shipping box with thick cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrap. I remove all LP records from their covers to protect the seams of covers.

I ship by USPS. Postage costs vary depending on the method, distance and number of LPs being shipped. Combined shipping available; add $.50 for each record. Contact me prior to bidding, if postage is a concern.
I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” – International and the US government regulations prohibit such actions.
Return accepted within 7 days after the item is delivered, if returned in the original shipping container. Winning bid amount will be refunded as long as item is returned in the same condition when shipped. Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. No refund on any postage/shipping will be made.
