Description

Please note that this is the very last price reduction, I'm selling the LP on commission, and the vendor is in no great hurry to sell it, so if if fails to sell during this 30 day cycle it will be relisted for closer to the current book price. If you really are keen to own this LP and it's not iable for you to pay for it in full straight away, then I am happy to accept 2 x instalments, but please be mindful that I won't be able to dispatch the LP until the 2nd instalment has been received.
Up there as one of the Holy Grails of records, so I take pleasure in offering for sale this extremely rare 1969 original 12" Motherlight LP, and in remarkable condition too!
Morgan Studios sound engineers Mike Bobak & Andy Jons teamed up with Psych musician Will Malone to record this "one off" holy grail rarity, `Motherlight` released on the very collectable `Morgan Blue Town` label which came in a single textured sleeve on a distinctive `Blue` label.
Cat No. B.T. 5003
Side One
1. Motherlight
2. On A Meadow-Lea
3. Mona Lose
4. Wanna Make A Star, Sam

Side Two
5. House Of Many Windows
6. Chant
7. Burning Weed
8. The Lens

I have inspected both sides of the vinyl closely under strong lighting, and I'm confident in reporting that there are absolutely no blemishes which will cause any sound quality issues, so feel justified in grading the vinyl as N/M.
As to be expected the textured sleeve is looking a little aged, but fair to grade as V/G+, but please be sure to study my photo's closely by using the enlarge/zoom facility.
I have also recorded and uploaded both sides to youtube, so I would feel much happier if the LP went to someone that has seen & heard both sides of the LP beforehand, so please visit youtube and type MOTHERLIGHT LP SIDE 1 into the search bar, or copy & paste the URL's below into Google.
Please bare in mind that I only have a cheap Ion turntable, and have used a cheap Windows phone to do the recording, so the LP will sound much better on your own more sophisticated equipment:

My asking price is well below the book price, and is realistic based on rarity, recent worldwide sales, condition, and by what's currently available on the market worldwide today, but open to a little further negotiation.
Please be sure to study my photo's closely by using the enlarge/zoom facility as they form an important part of my description. UK delivery is at my expense using Royal Mail's 1st class small parcel "signed for" service.
