Description
Recorded on December 9, 1953, this Norgran session features Dizzy Gillespie on trumpet, Stan Getz on tenor, Oscar Peterson on piano, Herb Ellis on guitar, Ray Brown on bass and Max Roach on drums. SIDE A: IMPROMPTU and ONE ALONE: SIDE B: GIRL OF MY DREAMS: SIBONEY (PART 1) and SIBONY (PART 2). This is a 10 inch LP and is a MONO Recording.
I’ve graded both the vinyl and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean, with a few very light marks, which do not interfere with play. There is no real sign of wear in or around the spindle hole. The vinyl still retains its original luster. The record jacket is in excellent condition with no taped seams. The top seam shows some wear as does the cover. The liner notes have some slight discoloration, but overall, I’m sticking to an EX grade.
