Offered is one of the most influencial Jazz Recordings of the last century,  Sketches of Spain by Miles Davis.

It is the 1st Pressing from 1960 on Columbia Records "Six Eye" Stereo Label,  CS 8271,  and is in fabulous Near Mint, investment grade condition as described below.

THE VINYL -  NM : This beautiful record is lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear (please see close up photos of the labels). Both sides of the LP surface retain all of their original gloss. 
 
Other than some light cosmetic sleevewear from the original inner sleeve, there are no marks on either side.
 
Bright, undamaged, Red and Black Columbia Stereo "Six Eye"  labels (please see photos). 
                                                     
The record shows exceptional care and handling, and the stereo playback is impressive.




THE COVER -    EX+ :  Please see photos.  The worn appearance of the cover is not actual wear - Columbia cover artists designed it in this way for thematic effect / exceptionally well-stored with some minor scuffing,  and a few soft corners / bright colors / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / no writing, paper loss, paper tears, dirt, or stains.


Included is the original rounded, Columbia "Stereo Fidelity" plastic inner sleeve (please see photos).  From the fine condition of the record,  the LP was likely stored in this inner sleeve these many decades.    


We have placed both the cover and the LP into fresh,  protective plastic sleeves.
