Description

You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, jazz, LP record album from 1955, entitled, "Miles Davis-Blue Moods", on the Debut record label, #DEB-120.  This is the original pressing with thick vinyl and burgundy labels with gold lettering.  In the trail-off vinyl is etched on the SIDE A-120 A; on SIDE B-120 B.  The labels are in immaculate condition.  The vinyl is in beautiful, and could be called awesome, condition.  On the SIDE B, I could find virtually nothing wrong even though closely scrutinizing while tilting the record back and forth under intense light.  SIDE A was almost the same with the exception of a few faint to light scratches, mentioned only for the record collecting perfectionist.  The mirror-like vinyl gloss is tremendous.  The jacket is in good plus condition with light, general edge, corner and surface wear.  The back side cover has some tearing and folding of the liner notes page paper by the top middle and at the bottom right.  The back side cover has light general wear against the white background.  The notes on the back side were written by Bill Coss, Editor of Metronome.  The performers on the record are:  Miles Davis-trumpet; Britt Woodman-trombone; Charles Mingus-bass; Teddy Charles-vibes; and Elvin Jones-drums.  Please see the detailed photos.  This is a 5-day, no reserve auction.
