This is probably one of the holy grails of METALLICA singles- the legendary companion piece to the METALLIPROMO 12"... here is a copy of the UK promo only PS 45 for "Harvester of Sorrow"! As I talk about in the auction for the METALLIPROMO I am selling this week, I bought these two pieces of vinyl out of a Goldmine Magazine ad back in 1988 right when they were released, and I never played them- just got them for the collection and filed them away for 23 years- until now when I am passing them on to some other lucky collector!  There are thought to only be 500 of these singles in existence, the METALLIPROMO and other UK promo 12" from this LP are limited to 500 so chances are this single was too! The cover and record show no signs of handling, as close to a perfect copy as you will probably ever find and you NEVER have to wonder if it's an original because it's history is well known- it's been in my collection the whole time!  You can read all about all the Metallica releases and the many pressing variations there are of them on this very informative and interesting: METALLICA COLLECTOR'S PAGE. I have a lot of great METALLICA rarities I'm selling this week (including some sealed promo 12"s from 1984-1988!), I am a long time fan and even saw Metallica live on Jan 13, 1985 on the "Metal Massacre '85" tour with Cliff still in the band....I had just turned 11 years old, we were so small we couldn't see over the other headbangers so we climbed up basically into the PA on the side of the stage- a great metal memory I will never forget!  So this METALLICA stuff up for auction is coming from a true METAL home and collection- but after 25 years I've decided it's time for some of this stuff to go back out there out to other fans, I hope they find good new homes!  I'm auctioning off a bunch of other rare METALLICA and ANTHRAX items this week- stuff I've had in my collection since it came out 25+ years ago, most starting at $3.99-5.99!   CLICK HERE to see my other items.

I've always got other LPs/CDs/45s/posters/magazines/rarities/etc being listed, most are starting at $3.99-$5.99 which is as low as I can start them without giving them away, so please CLICK HERE to see my other items. A 30 year stockade of collectibles is being sorted through slowly but surely, many great things will go up for auction so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming stuff too!  Also, since my auctions start throughout the day, please note closing times vary. If you haven't already, I recommend you check out some of the free 'bid sniping' programs out there. I use them for buying and it's a great way to not forget to bid on auctions!

PAYMENT, SHIPPING & HANDLING:

THE MOST IMPORTANT: If you win, PLEASE wait to get and winning bid ebay invoice from me with SHIPPING AND HANDLING TOTAL before sending any payment!  Please do not just send a Paypal payment without getting a total from me! It will delay the process if you just "make up" postage amount and send it in, so please don't! You can use the PAY NOW or CHECKOUT after you have info from me on how much shipping is.

My shipping and handling are now based on the final price of the order.  This is an effort to streamline my postage operations and make it easier since ebay no longer allows us to charge for different services that shipping an item might require.  My "by the price" shipping model is the same that is used on many mail order sites for clothing and other items where you pay postage based on cost of your order, not the items.  Generally, the cost of the item (which is usually not known until auction closes) determines how it will need shipped and much it will cost to mail, so this new method I am using seems to make sense with that.  Of course if you win something that is tiny that is light to ship for $200 I will do what I can to give a discount for shipping.  These cases will be decided by me at time of auction closing, so please do not try and negotiate.  Unless I tell you otherwise the postage will be what it is in the chart below.

Combined orders will of course save on shipping, which is a great reason to check out the other items I have up right now. I will be happy to send items won at same time by one buyer in same package. 

Payments are preferred by PAYPAL which is fastest & easiest, at this point it seems like it's the only way to accept payment for the types of items I sell.  Please read up on what ebay says is safe on their page of ebay payment laws, which I will not try to explain as they are rather extensive. I'm not signed up for any of those other electronic payment systems they mention, so I guess it's PAYPAL only folks!  Shipping/Handling for orders is determined on a per order basis.

Payment due within 7 days of auction closing or ebay will be notified via non-paying bidder notice and appropriate feedback will be left.  I reserve the right to cancel transactions in which bidders can not comply with these terms- I am not interested in chasing down payments.  Please communicate and let me know what's going on with your purchase, and I will do the same.

Items won will be shipped to the shipping address on your Ebay account by USPS, but now that they charge by zone s/h must be calculated at end of auction.

POSTAGE OPTIONS:

• US orders for LPs or heavy items will be sent by: MEDIA MAIL. 
• US orders for smaller items will be sent by: FIRST CLASS MAIL.
• US orders that are requested can be sent by: PRIORITY MAIL.
  
• International orders will be sent by: FIRST CLASS MAIL INTERNATIONAL (which is like old regular AIR MAIL)
• Internatinal orders over $50 will be sent by: PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL

I only charge for s/h costs incurred in handling your order. I use real LP/45/padded mailers, I don't pack your order in between two random pieces of cardboard I found in the trash.  When sending vinyl I always remove LP/45 from sleeve to avoid damage in shipping. I make every effort to be an efficient shipper, and will get your stuff out to you within a few days of payment being received. I also buy a lot on ebay, and know how annoying it is to wait- so I will be fast as I can! I have been buying/selling on ebay for over 10 years, so please bid with confidence!

SHIPPING/HANDLING CHART:

This is a chart for postage of LPs/CDs/items I sell based on the new postage rates as of August 2009, and all orders over $50 include insurance in s/h. In accordance with ebays new rules as of Sept 2009 sellers are not allowed to offer or charge for insurance and it must be included in s/h cost when deemed necessary to use.  Please do not use this chart to send payment, it is only so you can have an idea of what it will cost instead of asking for each auction! I will send you final cost when auction closes, and if I am able to offer a discount on shipping because you ordered a light item I will do so.  HOWEVER, this will be up to my discretion and you should be prepared to pay the postage listed below based on your winning bid for your item.    Thanks for your help in making our transaction a smooth one!  

CUSTOMS INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:

All items won by international buyers will be declared for FULL VALUE of items won, NO exceptions!  This means that since items of significant value must be sent insured, they MUST be declared for their actual value so that the insurance coverage is valid.  If your country charges tax on items of value you receive through the mail, those duties/fees are your responsibility when you receive your package.  I can not and will not be responsible for these duties, nor will I declare items at less than the real value to save you the fees.  If the item gets lost or damaged we both need to be covered, so this helps ensure that is the case.  Thank you for your understanding, and if you have any questions about this please ask before you bid on my items.
