MEET THE BEATLES Record Album LP ST-2047 1st Edition NO BMI ASCAP #3 Blue Sleeve

Rare First Edition of the classic Meet The Beatles album, with a Record in exceptionally good condition.

We are pleased to present this rare First Edition of the classic Meet The Beatles Record Album for your consideration. Because it was rushed into production, the album is missing BMI and ASCAP credits on the album label. This album also has the "3" near the RIAA marking on the cover, indicating that it was manufactured at the Scranton, PA plant. The inside sleeve is the Royal Blue variety, also associated with the first edition.

The Album was acquired by Laurence and Sally Martin during the Atlanta, Georgia episode of the new Travel Channel hit series Baggage Battles. The episode is #4 from Season #1, and was first aired on April 26, 2012. We've included some clips from the episode (see pictures #15 to #26).

The Album measures 12-3/8 inches square and weighs 11 ounces. Conditions are as follows:

Cover: The cover shows light wear with some gentle creasing at the bottom and minor surface impressions. There is a small tear, just to the right of the RIAA label, at the edge. The white areas show light browning from age, especially near the edges. Wear is much less than typical.

Sleeve: The Royal Blue sleeve shows slight edge wear and there is a torn edge at the open mouth. Some slight wrinkles near the top. The record is being kept in a white sleeve, to minimize wear on this original sleeve.

Vinyl: (Side 1) Some light surface scratches are seen running across multiple tracks. No deep scratches. Label in center shows little wear. (Side 2) Some light surface scratches noted, but less than side 1. No deep scratches. Label in center shows little wear.

This is a nice example of this rare Beatles First Edition, showing far less wear than these albums typically received. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
