Description

This is a one l.p. box set titled Stairway To Heaven by Led Zeppelin on what appears to be the Songs For Swinging Mothers label. This is #52 out of 100 that were the very first pressings & included the large size Led Zeppelin shirt. I tried the internet but could not find any information on this particular l.p. It may be from a 1971 gig. One label shows 12 song titles, none of which are Led Zeppelin tunes. There is song separation & the sound quality is great. I just flipped on the first song on one side to make sure this was what it was supposed to be & it definitely is. First jam was a great version of Immigrant Song. The vinyl is Near Mint & I didn't want to play it any further to keep it that way. The cover of the box has awesome art work & is VG++. There is a tiny bit of light ringwear on top, a very tiny bit of a dirt line on the upper right & two of the corners of the lid are split. They can be easily fixed from the inside so that they are totally not noticeable. The reserve price is VERY fair for what this is.

( I ship on Saturdays. If you pay me after 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday, your l.p. will not be shipped until the next Saturday.)

Leave me feedback and I will return the courtesy. Delivery confirmation is a must and is worked into the cost of shipping. I accept Paypal only. Gold, precious stones and your first born can be negotiated. If paying by Paypal, payment is expected within 3 days unless other arrangements are made. Insurance will be provided upon request and is to be paid for by the customer. My overseas customers are very important to me and have given me a lot of support. However, I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. I do pack well and in a professional manner with standard record mailers. I also place a cardboard support inside the mailer for protection and to help prevent any bending. Records are removed from their covers and both are placed in a protective, clear plastic outer sleeve. It's a tried and true method that has never been improved upon. I do offer refunds if the item you won is not as described. I ship every Saturday.

I got an email from someone about looking at what was etched on the dead wax. I can't believe I didn't think of that. This is TMOQ. It is Excellent Stereo. The date is 9/9/71 BBC. I was thinking it might have been a Cellarful Of Noise re. but no. I had the year right but that was it. Zep was still in their prime in 1971. I didn't get to see them until 1975 & then again in 1977.  They played with Tull here (Chicago) in 1969 at Aragon I think it was. I would have killed to have seen that show. I believe Zep was the back up band. I used to have a bit of the show on tape but it's lost. I'd love to have it again ! Anyway, this same l.p. was pressed on yellow vinyl. Only 200 were made that way. They were all mono though. Tunes on this l.p. I have are: Immigrant Song / Stairway To Heaven / What Is And What Should Never Be / Whole Lotta Love / Boogie Woogie / Travelin' Momma / That's Alright Now Momma / Minnesota Blues / Little Honey Bee / Lemon Song. I didn't play this l.p. but found the info. in a 1983 copy of H.W. It doesn't mention a box set or shirt though but that's a pretty old book...
