Led Zeppelin – I-IV + Stairway 45 – 200 g Classic Recs.

This set is near mint stereo copy of Led Zeppelin’s first four albums (33 RPM) plus a 45 RPM 180 gram test pressing of Stairway to Heaven (catalogue number RTH 3000) as reissued on 200 gram vinyl by Classic Records.  I bought this directly from Classic Records in January 2003 when Classic first issued these Led Zeppelin LPs on 200 gram vinyl. As far as I know, this set was not sold through any other channel other than direct from Classic Records.  This reissue duplicates the packaging of the original four LPs except that the covers are much heavier than the original Atlantic pressings. The Stairway to Heaven test pressing is in a plain black jacket. All four LPs and the test pressing are contained in a larger outer white box with some additional art work (see the main photo). I cleaned the records with a VPI record cleaner when I first bought them and played them once.  Recently I recleaned the records with Audio Intelligent cleaner and demagnetized them with a Furutech DeMag and the replayed them. The records have little surface noise and there are no scuffs or scratches.  These records sound great with a lot of clarity and detail in the sound. The 45 test pressing of Stairway to Heaven is the one that Michael Fremer frequently mentioned in his Stereophile column a number of years ago. The covers are in perfect condition with no seam splits, bends, or creases.   The songs include:
