Description

Led Zeppelin II on Atalntic Records from 1969 on the green and silver centre label. This is the original Australian pressing with a unique laminated gatefold sleeve. The band name lettering to the front is pink and noticeably different to the UK release. Inside, there is a green and black duo tone band photo, again, distinctive of this pressing. There is a boxed "Stereo" indicator to the top left hand corner. There is a triangular hype sticker to the bottom left. Mono and stereo catalogue numbers listed to the rear and also on the spine.

Matrix numbers:
Side 1: SMX 33187 ST-A-691671-Q
Side 2: SMX 33188 ST-A-691672-S

Vinyl graded as Very Good+ with several noticeable surface marks but has been thoroughly play tested and sounds great. It still retains a lot of its original sheen.

Laminated stickered gatefold sleeve graded as Very Good+ wtih a slight crease to the bottom front gatefold; otherwise we would have graded as Excellent.

Comes in a plastic inner.

If you wish to purchase more than one record we will send you an invoice with updated postage.

All of our records are professionally cleaned prior to despatch and are posted in cardboard record mailers with stiffeners.

Records are graded using the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide as follows:

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Near Mint: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

In addition, we also use the following gradings to assist our customers in making purchasing decisions:
Excellent +: The record is better than Excellent but not quite Near Mint.

Very Good +: The record is better than Very Good but not quite Excellent.

Please get in touch with us if you have any queries regarding the grade of a record prior to bidding.
