One of the most obscure Lou Reed related items ever... !!!
Israeli singer Mich Ben Ami recorded a cover version to Lou Reed's Walk On The Wild Side sung in Hebrew (scroll down to listen) !
Ben Ami wrote a free-form translation of the original text and called the song "Whatever comes is cool" (Ma Sheba Sababa)... this is one of the weirdest cover versions I've ever heard in Hebrew...
This is one of the two only official Lou Reed cover versions made in Israel (the other one is Femme Fatale), both are in Hebrew.
Private pressing one-sided 12" single, used for radio DJ promo, never released on CD or other format.
Bass player on this track is Alon Olearchik who's better known from the Israeli Pop Psych band POOGY.
Pressed in no more than 50 copies which makes it impossible to find nowadays, especially in such a great condition! A promo sheet is included !!
*** A must for Lou Reed collectors ***
