Description

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1964 “THE BEST OF MUDDY WATERS” LP ON THE UK PYE INTERNATIONAL LABEL.  I BOUGHT IT NEW SOON AFTER IT CAME OUT AND HAVE LOOKED AFTER IT EVER SINCE. FINDING THIS LP IN THIS CONDITION IS VERY RARE INDEED!  THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY MINT. THE COVER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE.  DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!

The Catalogue Number is NPL 28040 on the Pye International label and is the MONO UK pressing.

The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. THIS RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record must grade MINT! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!

The front of the cover is in OUTSTANDING condition but is not mint! It has noticeable wear to the open edges, MODERATE wear to spine, MODERATE rubbing, MINIMAL cornerwear and MODERATE ringwear to the bottom and right hand side. There are six horizontal creases to the left side, the longest being 1cm. It retains much of its original look – outstanding for a cover of this age! The back cover has NO rubbing, there are NO creases (cover is still flat looking), ONLY THE TINIEST corner wear, ZERO ringwear, and NO writing. It has some discolouration to the laminated edges (see picture). Outstanding for its age!

THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE AND LEGENDARY UK LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!

I TRY TO MAKE MY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE CONDITION OF ITEMS VERY PRECISE.

SEE FEEDBACK FROM MY RECENT BUYERS AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE.

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
