TURQUOISE EARLY FIRST PRESS * SUPERHYPE CREDITS

UK ‘STEREO’ 1969

UNCROSSED MATRIX NUMBERS * A1/B1

AMAZING CONDITION

Sleeve Front – EX+/ Back – EX+

Front/back sleeve does have mild ringwear, some laminate cracks and lift to the pinched spine – this is typically standard now in these first pressing sleeves regardless of the overall condition. I have rated both sides EX+ due to the majority of the sleeve, both sides, being clean, bright and free from creasing with the exception of a mild crease top left front and bottom right front. The back cover is pretty much the same, a mild crease top left and bottom right. The top seam also has some creasing (see pictures). Overall it’s in brilliant condition for a 48 year old record.

This record has been in a re-sealable sleeve for 6 years. It remains in the same condition as purchased.

Inner Sleeve – VG+

* PLEASE READ *

Has browning to the edges front and back top and bottom left and right.

The noticeable thing about the inner sleeve, and I have never seen another, is the 1/069 print of the bottom corner. It was released in January 69. This is a genuine inner sleeve for this record from the first run.

Vinyl Visual – NM

Both sides of the vinyl are very clean, shiny – honestly near mint visually, with only one very small non feasible scratch on side 1 - at the start of track 3. It doesn’t affect the playback. The vinyl is in amazing condition, glossy, heavyweight first pressing. Really well looked after over the years.

Labels – NM

Has some spindle lines both sides. Clean, no writing or rips.

Audio – EX+

This record has been played, but judging by the spindle marks on the labels not many. I have played it a handful of times since purchase. There is light surface noise in the quieter parts, but virtually no clicks, pops, jumps or crackle throughout. There is to be expected mild crackle on the run in/out both sides.

Please remember that different tonearms/cartridges will produce a different sound - I have a Rega RB300 tonearm which picks everything up.

The record cover comes in a PVC sleeve.

The vinyl is housed in a new anti static sleeve.
