Description

Led Zeppelin 1 ( Atlantic 1969).
Matrix Numbers : 588171 A//1  B//1.
Turquoise writing on sleeve.
MacNeill Press, fully laminated sleeve. sleeve is in very nice and clean condition, with very little wear. there are one or two very, very minor laminate creases showing. these are barely noticeable, but worthy of mention nevertheless. edge and corner wear are very minimal and probably only due to storage through the decades.
Labels are red/plum and bright and clean, with just very light spindle wear.
inner sleeve is the correct, poly lined " plastic bags can be dangerous". showing some slight edge yellowing with age.
Vinyl : this is perhaps the most difficult part of grading. with this in mind, i decided to get it done properly and live with the results lol. The Vinyl was visually and play graded.
Visual : the record looks and feels very clean with a nice surface sheen still still visible. held under a halogen light, the record displays many sleeve marks and a few other marks. these are commensurate with the record having been played, but also looked after very well. the record played well and only one or two very light static clicks were heard. even on the quiet" babe i`m gonna leave you" there was silence in the whole track.
This copy falls short of mint, or even nr mint, but it`s a very good ++, or even a poor EX.

Grading :  sleeve VG++  Vinyl VG+
This is an honest and objective opinion and reflects exactly what the record condition is.
