Here’s your chance to buy a superclean pressing in tip-top condition....and only 30-40 original hand made photocopied sleeves, created in 1979, exist. This sleeve is a photocopy of the original photocopy. I’ve been an eBay seller since 1999 and I have only ever seen this Australian cult punk 7” with the original hand made sleeve for sale, just the once. It sold on eBay in March 2014 for £1,429. You are bidding on the legendary first punk single by the LAST WORDS from kangaroo country, home of the LEFTOVERS, VICTIMS, CHOSEN FEW, YOUNG IDENTITIES and RADIO BIRDMAN. As you know this original first Australian pressing on ‘Remand’ records features a rougher / punkier / superior version of the A-side track ‘Animal World’. Subsequent pressings on the ‘Wizard’ and ‘Rough Trade’ label are a re-recorded versions. But the real winner is the brilliant ‘Wondering Why’ on the flip. This track has the spirit and charm of the good old days. An absolute beauty this one...and only available on this original first Aussie pressing. All in all 500 records were made...and officially they were never released with a sleeve but here’s the TRUE STORY about this super-rare hand made sleeve: In 1979, band member Leigh Kendall was invited to play on the first 7” release by German punk band VOMIT VISIONS from the city of Frankfurt. Together with Hans Wurst (bass), Rola Rock (vocals) and Eric Hysteric (guitar) he recorded the first VOMIT VISIONS single ‘Punks Are The Old Farts Of Today’. It was also the first label release of the well-known Hardcore Punk label ‘Rock-O-Rama’ records from 1980. When he came to Germany he took the leftovers of this first LAST WORDS single with him and gave the 30-40 sleeveless records to Eric Hysteric, who created these hand made sleeves in 1979. It was also the beginning of a series of collaborations between members of the LAST WORDS and VOMIT VISIONS. Again, the original of the cover was made in 1979 and only 30-40 sleeves, approx, were made. This might be your only opportunity to buy this Australian punk stomper...and everything is DEAD-MINT.

All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending.
