Description
An original 1st mono press on 'Ace Of Clubs' label from 1967. Matrix 1A-1A. Stampers 1-M/1-BU. The label is perfectly consistent with 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Rober Stace printed cover. Also included is the original red mono Decca inner sleeve. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In perfect condition - shiny like a mirror and has only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Difficult to find fault with this copy it is so well preserved. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is practically non-existent. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments - i.e. practically nothing. A very very fine copy indeed.
Cover (Ex) In tremendous condition and you'd be hard pushed to go better. Perfectly shiny front cover with barely a single crease. The rear seems to have avoided the ageing that so often afflicts these cover - just a few minute flecks in places [barely visible]. Edge wear is very light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. What a specimen!
