John Lennon, Yoko Ono - Happy Xmas (War is Over) acetate - limited edition of 50.
You are bidding on an extremely rare and collectable strictly Limited Edition of one of 50 vinyl acetates of John Lennon & Yoko Ono’s iconic single ‘Happy Xmas (War is Over)’.
This one-sided 12” acetate was hand-cut on the lathe at the legendary Abbey Road Studios by mastering engineer Alex Wharton and was kindly made available to us by Yoko Ono and Sean Ono Lennon.  
The record was released on December 5th 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original recording in 1971.
This specially produced item comes with a signed letter of authenticity from Sean Ono Lennon and an accompanying printed insert and numbered sleeve.  This is 46/50.

Scottish Women Inventing Music (SCIO), SC049187  is honoured to have been chosen as one of the beneficiaries selected by Yoko and Sean.

SWIM is a collection of music creators and industry professionals who identify as woman. We are committed to achieving a level playing field for women and pushing for equality. 
This auction will help us raise valuable funds, and help us to support even more people and projects.
We will also be donating 20% of total funds raised to YCWA Scotland - A national women's rights organisation and part of the biggest worldwide movement of young women leading change. We exists to create a fairer Scotland for all self-identifying women and girls. Gender inequality affects everyone. We challenge it by creating leadership opportunities, learning programmes, safe spaces to come together, and platforms that enable our community to push for change.
