Description
Very rare flexi disc from John Lennon & Yoko Ono released in 1969 as part of the USA Art periodical Aspen.
Issue No 7 was titled The British Box and centered on contemporary British artists such as David Hockney, Peter Blake, John Taverner and John Lennon.
Included with the set were two flexi discs. One of the discs contained exclusive material by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. It is this disc only that is being auctioned here.
Side A: Yoko: Let's Go On Flying, Snow Is Falling All The Time and Mum's Only Looking For Her Hand In The Snow.John & Yoko: No Bed For Beatle John
Side B: John: Radio Play Included is a wrap-around cover with lyrics to the songs.
Flexi-discs are by their nature of a limited shelf life. I have owned the disc for over 10 years and only played it once. It sounded perfect then. It has been very carefully looked after. My grading is based on a visual inspection only, and is judged to be Excellent.
