Jan & Dean 8" ACETATE UNITED RECORDING "Girl You're Blowing My Mind" b/w "Fan Tan"
This is a two sided 8" lacquer acetate from United Recordings.
Condition is G+ (below average) with scattered light wear across both sides. Loss of gloss and shine. No writing or stickers.
Note: the edge of each sides has a dent which very slightly gets into the first two revolutions cause a light thump. Also has a slight bent into the record from the dent which gives slight swishing noise through half the record. Plays without skipping from 3 grams to 1 gram. Anything lighter than that who knows?
Fan Tan label is on both sides in error. "Girl You're Blowing My Mind" is recorded on one side.
Both tracks are the same as the Jan & Dean label and the Warner Brothers release.
These sides were pressed for Warner Brothers Records. As you know Jan Barry recorded a lot at United Recorders.
Don't let this acetate get by you. They rarely ever turn up! Pressed in very small quantities.
