Description

Original Continental pressing, 1948/49; numbers 104/105/106. This is a great rarity, certainly the rarest of all LP classical sets. Given this, the condition of the records is very good indeed. 104 is perfect; 105 has a shallow 1/8" mark and an even shallower squiggle mark on side A; 106 has a small pressing bubble on side A. The box has 3/4" of the black covering material on the upper left corner worn off, shows a few horizontal dark lines on the red velveteen surface of the front, as well as a very narrow horizontal white line, but the box is, on the whole, sound. I should think that it would be extremely unlikely to come across another set as good as this one in the near future.

On Feb-02-05 at 10:39:28 PST, seller added the following information:None of the visual flaws which I indicated on records 105 and 106 are translated into sound in any manner.
