On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jimi Hendrix called 'Electric Ladyland Vol 1 (actually Vol 2!)' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK White Label Track DEMO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press White Label Track DEMO label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JIMI HENDRIX'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE WHITE LABEL DEMO RECORD!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP IS JUST PART OF AN EX-REP'S COLLECTION I RECENTLY ACCQUIRED!!!!  HE WORKED FOR VARIOUS DIFFERENT FACTORYS/LABELS THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER (FROM THE LATE 1960s UNTIL THE LATE 1970s) AS A VERY SUCCESSFUL SALES REP, AND WAS OFTEN ALLOWED TO KEEP VARIOUS LPs THAT WERE 'SPARE'.  THESE 'SPARE' RECORDS WERE USUALLY (ACCORDING TO HIM) DUE TO 'OVER PRODUCTION'.  FOR EXAMPLE - IF THERE WERE 96 RADIO STATIONS REQUIRING A 'PROMOTIONAL COPY' - THEN THERE THERE WAS VIRTUALLY ALWAYS AN 'EXCESS' AS THE PRESSINGS WERE SET TO RUN OF IN BATCHES OF 10s, 20s, OR 50s.  SO IF 96 COPIES WERE REQUIRED - 100 COPIES WERE USUALLY PRESSED, AND ANY EXCESS WAS DESTROYED, OR IN SOME CASES 'RECYCLED'(!!!!).  IN THIS CASE THIS RECORD WAS SIMPLY 'LYING AROUND' (AND AS FAR AS HE KNEW THE ONLY ONE EVER MADE) AND DUE FOR DESTRUCTION.  HE ACCQUIRED IT AFTER SEEKING PERMISSION AND THIS LP REMAINED IN HIS COLLECTION EVER SINCE!!!!  IN THIS CASE HE HAD NO IDEA HOW MANY WERE PRESSED - THOUGH WITH THE CORRECTIONS ON THE LABEL (INCLUDING CORRECTIONS FROM VOL 1 TO VOL 2 - AND ALSO A CAT NUMBER CHANGE) HE BELIEVED IT WAS SIMPLY A 'ROUGH' TEST RECORD (AND MOST LIKELY COMPLETELY UNIQUE!) - INVOLVED IN GETTING EVERYTHING CORRECT BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  THIS RECORD (DESPITE THE LABELS STATING VOL 1 BEFORE THE CORRECTIONS!) ACTUALLY PLAYS 'ELECTRIC LADYLAND VOL. 2 - AND IS CONTAINED IN A 'VOL 1' COVER - WHICH SUGGESTS THIS RECORD WAS BEING DEVELOPED EVEN BEFORE THE VOL 2 COVERS HAD EVEN BEEN PRINTED!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE RAREST & 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!   NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK WHITE LABEL TRACK 'TEST PRESS' DEMO 1ST PRESSING ON THE ORIGINAL TRACK WHITE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Track DEMO UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is 613 017 (after the final correction!) on the ULTRA RARE 'Test Press' Track 'White Label' DEMO Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with only VERY minimal wear, some VERY minor staining to either label (though equally this could be from manufacture), NO writing (apart from the original text & corrections that were originally made to this record back at the factory!), and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some absolutely MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The 1st Press FULLY Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the laminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
