For Sale - silver presentation vinyl disc for 60,000 sales of Japan's Assemblage hits album - 1981.
Japan, led by front man David Sylvian, split with Ariola in 1981 and Assemblage is a collection of Japan's singles up to that point. This silver disc was presented to Simon Potts, A+R representative of Arista-Ariola, in recognition of 60,000 sales of Assemblage. Simon Potts also signed top artists Ebn Ozn and was involved in the success of many Arista-Ariola acts.
This vinyl disc is in the original frame and in excellent condition. It would appeal to collectors of music memorabilia/ephemera and of course fans of the post punk/new romantic and 80's electronica movement, specifically Japan!
