Description
This is absolutely one of the nicest 2nd State BEATLES Butcher albums you will find... and it's in STEREO!
Original 1966 BEATLES "2nd State" rare STEREO Paste-over Butcher Album "Yesterday and Today" ST 2553 unpeeled.
The album has been lightly handled and is in excellent+ condition. Of course, the Butcher is intact underneath and in FANTASTIC condition. Originating from the pressing plant in Los Angles, CA (5), the corners are sharp and sides are straight. The colors are still bold without fade and the paste over is semi-white to white on the front AND on the back.
Wording on the spine is very clear and you can see Ringo's black turtleneck sweater from quite a distance away (no squinting here!) The bottom of the trunk shows no wear... like most you will find.
The vinyl itself from Capitol Records is original and near mint-mint condition. The label(s) are beautiful. The record skirting is bright orange/black in color and tear-free with great corners and no splits.
A COLLECTOR'S ALBUM that has been stored with vinyl removed from sleeve. NO oils, no prints, no writings and NO SPLITS making it ultra-rare!
Included is a copy of the original Capitol records letter sent out to "recall the Butcher Album" and an 8X10 copy color photo of RINGO (In his Black V Neck), along with PAUL, JOHN AND GEORGE preparing for their infamous photo shoot.
