Hurricane – “Mama was a Honky Tonk Woman”/ “Shakin’ an’ Breakin’ ” (Decca, F 13435). Rare 1973 Decca 45 by the band that featured Stuart Coleman and Mal Gray (Wild Angels).  If you haven’t heard it, “A” side has a verse sung in a pseudo-country drawl, and then builds up to a strong Glam-influenced chorus complete with heavy guitar solo. “B” side is pure rockabilly. Vinyl has one or two surface marks when held up to the light, but these are merely cosmetic.  The disc actually plays to an excellent standard (at the very least!).  A rare opportunity to obtain this scarce 45.
