Hank Mobley       Jazz Message #2     Savoy 12092   mono  maroon label

Hank Mobley (ts), Lee Morgan, Donald Byrd (t), Hank Jones, Barry Harris (p), Art Taylor, Kenny Clarke (d)  Recorded 1956

Maroon label. No "RVG" in the runouts on this pressing as it's a 60s or early 70s reissue.  Cover is paste on without writing on spine.  "P.O. Box 1000" address on back cover.

Record looks and plays VG++ to M-.  No scratches or scuffs.    Grooves are bright and glossy and record looks little played.

The cover is VG+.

The front cover is very bright and glossy with very light wear with small area near "#2" where laminate is coming away from slick but is not detached. Tape on the top and bottom seams can be seen.  The back cover has light wear. Top seam is taped app 4 inches at the pocket, but it doesn't look split.   Bottom seam taped app 4 inches at the pocket but it only looks split 1/2 inch. Slick on bottom seam at spine app 1 inch is tearing and small piece missing. Spots of heavy wear and denting at the corners.
