This is the Fist Pressing, Laminated Cover, 1963, VAN GELDER stamped, P pressing of HERBIE HANCOCK’s “My Point of View” on the RARE DEEP GROOVE “New York” labels of Blue Note BST 84126. Extremely rare double-sided Deep Grooved New York Labels. Musicians include Herbie Hancock – piano, Donald Byrd – trumpet, Grachan Moncur III – trombone, Hank Mobley – tenor saxophone, Grant Green – guitar (not on tracks 2, 3 & 4), Chuck Israels – bass, Tony Williams – drums.
VINYL plays beautifully, a clean record. Occasional spots with light pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are very dynamic and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Very Good gloss. Super clean and shiny surface. The "New York” labels are clean. See photos.
LAMINATED MONO COVER/ STEREO STICKER cover is in Very Good shape, corners worn. Spine and seams very good, solid. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows stains. Please see photos.
